Our goal is to create the most amazing koa wood infused designs using sustainably harvested "curly" grained Koa wood from the Big Island of Hawaii...the most beautiful and expensive. Koa only grows in Hawaii and was once reserved for royalty. It was used for the first surfboards, warrior's weapons and the outrigger sailing canoes that explored the Pacific. This thoughtful design was inked out on my desk so you won't find it elsewhere. Koa's grain patterns are spectacular and we hand finish the "curly" grain to bring out a shine and depth not usually found in wood. We seal the Koa with epoxy which further brings out the grain and keeps everything water and life-proof.

The Eternity cuff is our anniversary-favorite koa cuff bracelet — an artfully stylized infinity design that wraps around exquisite curly Hawaiian Koa wood and blue abalone shell. Representing the ocean and land (aina) — two things that define Hawaiian life. Hand-finished in our shop in Honolulu, Hawaii with Big Island Koa. Available in Small, Medium, and Large.
What sizes does the Eternity Cuff come in? +
Small (fits 5.5-6.5 inch wrist), Medium (6.5-7.5 inch wrist), Large (7.5-8.5 inch wrist). Measure around your wrist bone for accurate sizing. The cuff has some flex so you can gently adjust it once on, but ordering the right size makes the biggest difference. Free size exchanges if the fit isn't right.
Is the Eternity Cuff a good anniversary gift? +
Yes — it's designed for it. The infinity symbol represents lasting commitment; the abalone-and-Koa combination represents the ocean and the land — the two things that shape Hawaiian life. Can I wear the Eternity Cuff in water? +
Yes, it's life-proof. The Koa wood is sealed and the silver setting handles daily wear including splash, rain, and swimming. Extended saltwater exposure (a full beach day) is fine — just rinse with fresh water afterward. Skip the sauna.
Is the Koa wood in the Eternity Cuff sustainably sourced? +
Yes. All of our Koa comes from dead or dying trees on private land on the Big Island — no live-tree harvesting. The high value of Koa means ranchers can profit from naturally fallen trees, which gives them a reason to protect old-growth forests and plant new ones. Sourcing this way supports Hawaiian forest health rather than reducing it.
What is the abalone used in the Eternity Cuff? +
The abalone in the Eternity Cuff is genuine mother-of-pearl from abalone shell. The iridescent blue-green shimmer changes with the light — pairs beautifully with the Koa's shifting curly grain. Both materials are naturally alive in the light, which is why the pairing works.
How do I care for the Eternity Cuff? +
Everyday: wipe with a soft dry cloth. The Koa and abalone are both sealed. Avoid harsh chemicals (perfumes and cleaning agents can dull the finish over time — put the cuff on after getting ready, not before).

FOCUS, SIZING IS IMPORTANT
Check out the sizing...The cuff is available in small, medium and large sizes which will fit most wrists due to the flexible nature of the center back section. By pinching the center back, you can gently bend it to tighten the fit. If you're on the fence, go with the small...it's most popular and if it doesn't work, we of course swap it for free. The large is sized to fit most men's wrists. --NOTE-- large not shown in sizing pic.

Unfortunately I have not had a positive experience with Pono Woodworks. The wooden inserts in my cuff bracelet fell out within 45 days of purchase. I have requested to return the cuff numerous times for a refund. All of my emails go unanswered. There is no phone number to call and actually speak to a person. Do not think this cuff will withstand daily wear. It will not. Customer service has proven to be just as unreliable. I do not recommend.

The cuff was just what I expected. I love the weight of it on my wrist and the Koa wood inlay is beautiful. I only gave 4 stars because I wish it were smaller, but there wasn’t an extra small option.

It’s good but I have large wrists and it would be nice if it was larger thickness width of the wood and mother of pearl and a larger size but I’m gonna keep it because I really like it.
I wear it with the silver band on the top of the wrist as it did not work the other way for me.

Was so stoked to have this delivered so quickly. It was our 5th anniversary. She loved the bracelet when she opened it. Unfortunately the wood section that was adhered or glued to the metal quickly became loose then fell off entirely. It only took about a week to happen. I’m hoping Pono could correct the malfunction as my wife does really appreciate the design...

This is a very beautiful bracelet, thank you for that. The wife really liked it. A recommendation though, maybe look into making an even smaller size than your small size. I got the small. Your website said that it can be flexed to fit a smaller wrist if need be. We did do that. We got it to fit but the problem is that after slightly flexed the abalone cracked and the edge of it popped up to where it is sharp now in that spot on outside of bracelet. It doesn't affect her wearing it but it would be sharp if that rubbed against something.
