Here's the low-down on our shipping policy and practice. We make every effort to ship out orders as soon as possible...usually next business day. We have a group out of Florida graciously helps us ship most of the orders...i say graciously because we aren't nearly big enough to qualify for most fulfillment centers. This helps me immensely and lets me get back to actually making stuff instead of shipping stuff.
They have a small amount of my creations in stock and ship out items the next business day. This saves a significant amount of time as shipping from Honolulu generally takes a few extra days. This helps us compete on google and amazon where people seem to need things as soon as they click buy.
Some orders need to be made to order and will be shipped from Honolulu as quick as i can get it out. I'm generally pretty good about getting it out in 1-2 days. Made to order items are usually Samsung phone cases and sometimes a wallet...or whatever the Florida peeps have run out of.
Shipping Rates: Mainland United States and Hawaii and Alaska
Economy: FREE...this includes tracking and usually arrives in 4-6 days
Standard: $3 flat rate...(yes I eat some costs) usually arrives in 3-5 days.
Express: $12 flat rate...this is USPS Priority Mail usually delivers in 2-3 days depending on the season and how busy the USPS is.
I don't offer Fedex or UPS because customers that choose those have waited way too long to order and it never ends up working out...overnight is never overnight.
International Shipping: I ship to most countries with the same no mark up policy. Shipping rates seem to fluctuate but between $15-22 for first class international. We loose the ability to track it once it leaves the US but I've only had 2 issues with USPS getting it there...sometimes it takes some time but that can be the local mail issues as well.
Order Processing Time: We get most orders out next business day...approx 95%. The rest go out within 1-3 days and need to be sent from Honolulu.
Missing or Lost Packages: If your package goes missing, we request that you get in contact (leave a note in the mailbox w/ the tracking number) with your postman and ask him/her if they've seen it. Our packaging looks like my 58 vw bus so they sometimes remember it. It's amazing what they can find when asked. If the package cannot be found email me and I will send out a new one out. We trust our customers!
Damaged Item Received: Shoot us a pic and i'll get a new one on the way.
