When roaming the islands, we like to travel light. Preferably board shorts, slippers and that's about it...less than that and we tend to get the stink-eye. I digress. Unfortunately, the need has arisen for something to carry the mounds of cards and cash required to navigate this modern jungle. Born out of necessity, our minimalist wallets carry everything you could need with the minimal esthetic we love.
- Elastic stretch sides to accommodate 1-12 cards
- Koa and opposing carbon fiber (w/ money clip) sides
-RFID blocking for the ultimate in protection
Consider it your personal sherpa...it can carry so much while remaining slim. The elastic sides expand to hold over 12 cards and the clip can hold more than enough cash. The only minimalist attribute is it's overall footprint.
If you've never used a small wallet like this, it allows you to conveneintly carry in the front pocket which is much less likely to be picked. Oh, did we mention...the most amazing curly grain Koa wood from the Big Island?...hand made in Honolulu? #yourwelcome #shouldhavenameditthesherpawallet
An elegant solution...Everything in its place and a place for everything. If it doesn't fit, you probably don't need it. Space for 12 cards.
Expertly crafted with attention to the details...countersunk screws, aluminum frame, beveled edge for easy card insertion... no need to make a deal with the devil...we're a lot easier to deal with.
A ton of work goes into getting you the perfect wallet...here's the rundown...I hand pick every piece of Koa for amazing grain patterns which I then hand sand, finish with water-based poly, laser cut, sip a beer, etch a design, apply ink and assemble. Like I said, pretty much ridiculousness...but it makes a super unique wallet.
The wood is beautiful and the wallet is just the right size to fit everything you need.
Ok. I was already a fan of Ponowood Works after our trip to Maui two years ago. My wife and I purchased matching Loa wood rings and she purchased a koa wood watch for me. Love them all. After arriving home, the watch mechanism failed within two weeks. Pono quickly sent me a new watch and a 20% off coupon. The watch is still ticking. Last month I got rid of my iPhone 6 for a iPhone 12 and needed an appropriate case. I bought the koa / abalone shell case as well as a koa wood wallet. Both are beautiful. If you love quality, Hawaiian craftsmanship, wood and value, you cannot go wrong with Ponowood works. This company embodies the meaning of the Hawaiian word Pono.
Couldn't be happier with this wallet clip!
Husband loved it. It's a beautiful piece!
I absolutely love the wallet! I’ve received so many comments about how beautiful the wood is. In regards to it’s practicality, it’s a great EDC wallet. Small, but can hold everything that I want.
