Yes — every Sherpa Wallet has full RFID blocking to protect your cards from electronic pickpocketing. Works for credit cards, debit cards, IDs, hotel keys, and any RFID-enabled cards you carry. Peace of mind built in.
How many cards fit in the Sherpa Wallet? +
The Sherpa comfortably fits 5 normal width cards. It's designed to fight bulk — if you're currently carrying a fat leather bi-fold, expect to slim down. The money pouch handles a small stack of folded cash. Coin storage is minimal by design — this is a slim-EDC wallet, everything you need, nothing you don't.

Is the Sherpa Wallet water-resistant? +
Splash-resistant but not waterproof. The Koa wood is sealed within the wallet body which handles rain and everyday moisture. If it gets wet, wipe it down with a dry cloth. Don't submerge it or leave it in prolonged wet conditions — like any wallet, it's meant to live in your pocket, not your pool.

Made in Hawaii — hand-inlaid Koa wood, hand-finished by our team in our Honolulu shop. Big Island Koa, small-batch production, no factory line. What arrives in your pocket was actually touched by real hands here in Hawaii.
How do I care for the Koa wood on the wallet? +
Wipe with a soft dry cloth when it's looking dusty. Avoid harsh chemicals and don't let the wallet soak in liquid. Everyday pocket-wear will develop a beautiful patina on the Koa over the years — that's the wood aging with you. Occasional light polishing with a beeswax or wood balm brings the grain back to life if it ever looks dry.

The wallet is not what I expected. It is made of cheap plastic. I have had a couple of the ridge-like wallets with the Koa inlay from Pono for years and loved them. This wallet is lame and I unfortunately have to go elsewhere to find a better quality wallet going forward.
Aloha Dennis, wow..thanks for the frank feedback. The idea behind the Sherpa is to be as lightweight and minimal as possible...hence the use of aluminum and plastic. They are certainly a bit different than the beefier 'ridge-like' wallets. Feel free to return it.

Awesome travel wallet. Holds all your cards and has a switch to pop them out. The cards pop out in a layered stack so you can choose which one you want to pull out. Koa wood and carving is high quality. Nice little elastic pouch to hold some folded bills. Only feedback if you have heavier metal cards they can slide out of the chamber if you shake the wallet, however I haven’t had any issues with everyday use that happening from normal use.

I was apprehensive, having never had a hard box wallet before. I love the mechanics of the card trigger, the Curly Koa is beautiful, and the size is perfect.
A couple recommendations: 1) provide dimensions so the different wallet styles can be compared. 2) the cash-holder pocket backing material seems like it will collect lint/fuzz easily, but too early to tell.

The MagSafe magnet ring came off and I had to re-glue them. Working fine so far. No complaints on the wallet except could be a little smaller.

It’s a little smalller than I thought, but I did downsized my wallet to fit all the important items inside. The small pocket is just barely big enough to hole a few paper bills. So far no cards are falling out and I love the Honu design that matches my phone cover.🤙🏽

The wallets are beautiful but not what I thought I had ordered.
I thought I had ordered 1 turtle and 1 plain, which is not what I received.
I received 1 with the Hawaiian Islands and 1 with multiple designs, the fish being the primary one.
that's embarrassing. I'll send out the correct ones today with a return label for the wrong ones. Sorry about that.

I really like the Sherpa Koa Wood wallet as I previously owned the minimalist wallet but wearing out since had a very long time. I like that here is a button on the top to pull out the credit cards and it separates them so can grab the one you want and little less bulk without the money clip. Love the new wallet!! Mahalo!!
