When roaming the islands, we like to travel light.  Preferably board shorts, slippers and that's about it...less than that and we tend to get the stink-eye but I digress. Unfortunately, the need has arisen for something to carry the mounds of cards and cash required to navigate this modern jungle. Born out of necessity, and 2 years in the making, our Sherpa wallets carry everything you could need with the minimal esthetic we love. Add the most amazing curly Koa wood from the Big Island...and you have a hand made, one of a kind expression of Island style.

Legendary Big Island Koa, Hand finished, laser cut, inked and assembled in our Shop in Honolulu, HI.  If you've never used a small wallet like this, it allows you to conveniently carry in the front pocket which is much less likely to be picked...perfect for travel.

An elegant solution...Everything in its place and a place for everything.  If it doesn't fit, you probably don't need it. Space for 12 cards. Consider it your personal sherpa...it can carry so much while remaining slim. The only minimalist attribute is it's overall footprint.

HAND MADE IN HAWAII...DID WE MENTION THAT BIT OF RIDICULOUSNESS

A ton of work goes into getting you the perfect wallet...here's the rundown...I hand pick every piece of Koa for amazing grain patterns which I then hand sand, finish with water-based poly, laser cut, sip a beer, etch a design, apply ink and assemble. Like I said, pretty much ridiculousness...but it makes a super unique wallet.

Sherpa koa wood wallet.

Awesome travel wallet. Holds all your cards and has a switch to pop them out. The cards pop out in a layered stack so you can choose which one you want to pull out. Koa wood and carving is high quality. Nice little elastic pouch to hold some folded bills. Only feedback if you have heavier metal cards they can slide out of the chamber if you shake the wallet, however I haven’t had any issues with everyday use that happening from normal use.

Exceeds expectations

I was apprehensive, having never had a hard box wallet before. I love the mechanics of the card trigger, the Curly Koa is beautiful, and the size is perfect.

A couple recommendations: 1) provide dimensions so the different wallet styles can be compared. 2) the cash-holder pocket backing material seems like it will collect lint/fuzz easily, but too early to tell.
