This thoughtful design was inked out on my desk so you won't find it elsewhere. Our goal is to create the most amazing koa wood infused designs using hand picked, sustainably harvested "curly" grained Koa wood from the Big Island of Hawaii...the most beautiful and expensive. Koa's grain patterns are spectacular and we hand finish the "curly" grain to bring out a shine and depth not usually found in wood. We seal the Koa with epoxy which further brings out the grain and keeps everything water and life-proof.

A simple, clean bar pendant with curly Hawaiian Koa wood inlaid in a life-proof stainless steel frame. "Koa" means courage or strength in Hawaiian — the Koa tree lent its name to Hawaiian warriors, the fiercest of fighters. Wear it close to your heart as a reminder of your own strength. 1.2" pendant on an 18" color-matched chain with extender. Silver finish.
Is the pendant life-proof and waterproof?
Yes — designed life-proof from day one. The Koa wood inlay is sealed under a clear epoxy resin that locks out water, sweat, sunscreen, and daily wear. The frame is surgical-grade stainless steel — hypoallergenic and corrosion-proof. Shower, swim, and live in it. Rinse with fresh water after saltwater and dry.

Everything you see here was drawn up on my desk here in Honolulu, so you won't find our designs anywhere else. I love drawing inspiration from the Hawaiian vibes that surround us.
What's special about the Hawaiian Koa wood?
We use only the most rare and beautiful "curly" grained Koa from the Big Island of Hawaii — the tightest curl density is what makes the wood look like it's moving in the light. Pictures really can't do it justice. I waited 10 years for the current batch of curly Koa. The wood is sustainably harvested from dead or dying trees on private land — no live-tree harvesting — and hand-finished in our shop in Honolulu.
