What is the Koa wood iWatch Band?
We designed our bands to showcase the beauty of the Koa. We added a metal stringer in Silver or Gunmetal to add strength and compliment the watch color (Gunmetal will match the black face as well). We added a fold-over butterfly clasp to complete the elegant statement.
Which Apple Watch models does it fit?
Pick your case size on the product page — we make the 22mm width to fit the smaller Apple Watch cases (38/40/41mm) and the 24mm width to fit the larger cases (42/44/45/46mm). Adapters come installed so it slides straight into your watch — no extra parts to buy.
How does it feel to wear all day — is wood comfortable?
Way more comfortable than people think. Wood is light weight and soft to the touch..it develops a worn in patina over time that only gets better looking with wear.
Can I resize it myself?
Yes — links pop out with a standard watch-band tool, same as a metal bracelet. We include instructions. Or take it to any watch shop and they'll size it in 5 minutes.
Will it hold up to water, sweat, and daily beating?
Yes — the Koa is sealed under a clear finish that keeps out water and sweat. It's not for swimming in, but rain, showers, workouts, and daily wear are no problem. We're like drunken sailors around the shop — if we can't destroy it, you probably can't either.
What's special about the Hawaiian Koa wood?
Koa only grows in Hawaii and was once reserved for Royalty. It is a cultural anchor and makes up many of the items we view as uniquely Hawaiian.. from the warriors weapons, outrigger canoes, surfboards and the staircase in Iolani Palace..it's beauty is threaded through the Hawaiian story.

Been reaching out to support chat and sent Brett an email as recommended.
This has been going on for over 7 months. First contact 3/31/25. 10/31/25 still no response! Support chat shows available, no response. Chat bot responds although wants to sell me a new band.
No real warranty. Was planning on buying an expensive watch. Not anymore!

The watch band is great but, just to reiterate, you need to sell a version without the Apple watch connectors, there are non-Apple watches on the market.

So Excited! Got a notification that my iWatch band has been sent out yesterday afternoon. Low-and-behold, I received it today via USPS. Didn’t expect it to arrive that soon! I unboxed it, admired to beauty of the koa, attached it to my iWatch, took off a couple of links to fit my wrist. Easy-peazy no hassle. Took me less than 5 minutes to do the adjustment. Mahalo Brett…you did it again because I’m one Happy Kumu Hula. (Not to mention, I like your things better than those other people who do koa stuff. I’m not dropping their name) The only name I’ll drop is yours.

After figuring out from a YouTube video how to remove links, I adjusted both sides to remove one link each for a perfect fit! On the Apple Watch Ultra, the wood tone doesn’t clash with the titanium finish, giving the “rugged” Apple Watch Ultra a classy look. Not sure if the band should be exposed to water or not so I’ll keep it for dressy attire. Not a glossy urethane (or similar) finish as the curly koa wood ring/WC but still very beautiful.

I love having an Apple watch for the convenience of communication as well as the health tracking benefits. The only snag was I felt the watch bands always looked a little plastic-y, and especially for work or formal occasions, I wanted something that looked a little sharper.
This watch bands absolutely nails it. It's really unique as you don't see many people with wooden watches or watch bands. And despite being its uniqueness, it's not super flashy, which definitely suits my style. And I love the fact that it reminds me of my family's trip to Oahu -- an absolutely fantastic place we want to return to!
From a practical standpoint, it was easy enough to adjust the watch band with a paperclip to get the right fit, too. Once fitted, it's comfortable - not too loose, not too tight. So, for something that's handcrafted that's definitely not a run of the mill watch band replacement, you can't beat this for the price either.
